Membership
Membership fees for those
wishing to affiliate and take part in league matches may vary, at
present the pricing
is as follows:
Affiliation (everyone has to affiliate whether taking part in matches
or just
training) - £30.00
for the year
Training & match costs are £40.00 per season payable at the
start of each
season (Winter, Spring and Summer) for playing in the weekday matches
and £50.00 per season if also playing in the Saturday matches.
The cost varies due to several factors: court hire, umpires fees,
number of people affiliated in the squad, coaching and number of teams
entered in to a the league. If you wish to take part
in the league matches you will need a team skirt and top - we keep some
spares for matches but we advise that you purchase your own if you
intend to play regularly.
Training
Training takes place on a Wednesday evening between 19.00 and
21.00 at Bassett Sports Centre/Ground.
Training consists of warm-up, stretches, ball skills, positional
development, general fitness and match practice. We also encourage
people to try umpiring during training.
Matches
During the Winter league matches take place on a Monday night
at Bassett Sports Centre/Ground (unless stated otherwise) starting at
either 19.00
or 20.00. Please check the Fixtures Page
