ABOUT THE GAME

Positions

A netball squad may include up to twelve players but only 7 are on court at any one time. Each player has a position determined by the areas on the court where they may move and by what role they fulfill. The playing positions are shown by identification letters worn by the players on their 'bibs', these letters are visable both on their front and their back.

The positions are: GS, GA, WA, C, WD, GD, GK
